     In Paris there are many shops, boutiques, shopping malls and markets where you can find exclusive clothing from couture to small memories quite affordable.   


     Many of the legendary empire of haute couture are based in Paris, and although prices can be prohibitive for many, many of the tourists spend at least an afternoon to browse these stores. On the Avenue of Champs Elysees and its surroundings are a number of major brands such as Chanel, Christian Dior, and so on.

        
     If you simply want to buy some souvenirs and gifts can find plenty of shops around the main tourist attractions that we have mentioned throughout this guide as Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower or in some museums like the Louvre and Carnavalet.  


     Alternatively visit one of the many markets or commercial galleries in the city. Perhaps best known is the gallery "Forum des Halles in the 1st district, which covers an area of 7 hectares.

     Hours vary but shops usually open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00.


Department Stores in Paris
Au Printemps: It is known for its selection of home furnishings and clothes while men will find sections for ladies and children. In the dome of this building is a restaurant where private parties are held frequently.

Le Bon Marché: is the oldest department store in Paris where you can find clothing and accessories from leading brands.

Galeries Lafayette: It is perhaps the most famous of all and have a wide variety of items ranging from clothing of all prices and qualities to the Gourmet section dedicated to satisfying the most discerning palate. There is an agreement that allows the purchase to pay El Corte Inglés card.
