Know Paris


          Paris, capital and largest city of France, is situated in the north of it along the river Seine. The center of the metropolitan area known as the Île-de-France with more than 12 million people holds the record for being the largest in the European Union. 

       This region is also the main engine of the economy of France, concentrating most of the country's services such as banking and finance.




        Its current design, which is remarkable for its wide avenues and beautiful parks, is the result of a major refurbishment of the mid-nineteenth century carried out by Baron Haussmann during 17 years was at the forefront of urban planning.

        Paris is currently divided into 20 districts that are distributed on both sides of the Seine.
