Eiffel Tower:

     Was built for the Universal Exhibition of 1889 with the initial intention to dismantle but ended after that and became the unchanging symbol of Paris.

Arc de Triomphe:

     After the battle of Austerlitz in 1805 Napoleon promised his troops would come home under triumphal arches.The Arc de Triomphe is the realization of its promise.

Opera Garnier:

     This magnificent building was built at the request of Napoleon III by Charles Garnier. Its construction began in 1862.
